State Awards-2013 Meeting was held on 17-07-2013 at 4.00 P.M. in the Chambers of Principal
Secretary to Higher Education, Govt. of A.P., Hyderabad.
The following members attended the meeting.

Minutes of the Meeting:
I. University Teachers:
1. The minimum score of the proposal for the award shall be 60% for the
consideration of award.
2. Proposals for the award shall be not more than one from each faculty from a
University. Among the Universities the faculty with the highest score shall be
selected.
3. Registrars and Vice Chancellors shall not be considered for the award.
4. Number of proposals for the award shall be submitted in double to the number of
awards allocated to University.
5. Proposals from the candidates with less than 40 years shall be considered for
“Young Teacher Award” as per rules, i.e., for more than 300 teachers, 4 teachers
shall be nominated and 2 for young teacher awards (Total six proposals).
6. It is resolved to consider more number of awards to the candidates from Health
Sciences.
7. The last date for the receipt of revised proposals for the State Awards – 2013 is
25-07-2013.
II. Affiliated College Teachers:
It is resolved that out of 35 awards, 23 awards are allotted to 23 districts @ one
per each district and the remaining 12 awards are allotted for 12 teachers one from
each subject.
