In the letters 1st, 2nd and 3rd read above, the Commissioner of Collegiate Education,
A.P., Hyderabad has furnished three(3) proposals for (1) Introduction of Restructured
Courses as new Section on self finance basis in certain Govt.Degree Colleges from the
academic year 2013-14, (2) Introduction of P.G.Courses in certain Govt.Degree Colleges on
self finance basis from the academic year 2013-14 and (3) Introduction of Conventional
Courses at Under Graduate Level in certain Govt.Degree Colleges from the academic year
2013-14.
2. After careful examination of the matter, the Government have agreed with the
proposal of the Commissioner of Collegiate Education A.P., Hyderabad for (1) Introduction
of Restructured Courses as new Section on self finance basis in certain Govt.Degree
Colleges from the academic year 2013-14, (2) Introduction of P.G.Courses in certain
Govt.Degree Colleges on self finance basis from the academic year 2013-14 and (3)
Introduction of Conventional Courses at Under Graduate Level in certain Govt.Degree
Colleges from the academic year 2013-14, as detailed in the Annexures-I, II and III, subject
to condition that there is no financial commitment to State Government for ever.
3. The Commissioner of Collegiate Education, A.P., Hyderabad shall take further action
in the matter, accordingly.
4. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr.HE) Department vide their
U.O.No.16749/560/Expr.HE//2013, Dated:29-06-2013.

organizing Refresher Course in Hindi from 13-08-2013 to 2-09-2013. The list of the lecturers
nominated for the course is enclosed, with their place of work for the information of the
Principal.
The Principals are instructed to relieve the lecturer in time with instructions to report at the
above said venue before 9-30 AM on the date of commencement. The selected lecturers are
instructed to pay Rs.500/-(Rupees Five Hundred only) through Demand Draft ( non –
refundable ) drawn in favour of the Director, Academic Staff College, Moulana Azad National
Urdu University, Hyderabad payable at Hyderabad towards registration fee. Cash is not
acceptable. T.A. & D.A. for attending the said course shall be paid to the participants by the
organizers. The period shall be treated as ON DUTY.

GUIDELINES FOR COLLEGE TEACHER AWARDS

Guidelines for selection of Affiliated College Teachers for State awards in the Specified Subjects
1. As per the G.O. Ms.No.491, Dated: 06-07-2001, there are 35 awards for Affiliated College teachers in the State.
2. Out of the 35 awards, 23 awards are allocated to 23 teachers one from each district and the remaining 12 awards are earmarked for 12 teachers selected from all over the state one from each subject/group of subjects as mentioned below.
i. English
ii. Second language subjects (Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, Modern Languages etc.,)
iii. Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science
iv. Physics, Electronics and Geology
v. Chemistry and Bio-Chemistry
vi. Botany and Micro-Biology
vii. Zoology and Bio-Technology
viii. Commerce
ix. Political Science and Public Administration
x. History and Geography
xi. Economics
xii. Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology
3. Process for Selection of teachers for subject wise awards
i. The existing procedure and the guidelines for the selection process, which have already been communicated, are applicable to the selection of teachers for the subject wise awards.
ii. The Proposals for State Award for Affiliated College Teachers in the Subject concerned shall be submitted in the Annexure-I already communicated along with the copies of the evidences to the Principal.
iii. The Principal of a College shall constitute a college-level committee to scrutinize the proposals and finalise selection of teachers one from each subject. The list along with the proposals shall be submitted to ID College Principal.
iv. The ID College Principal shall constitute a district-level committee to scrutinize the proposals received from colleges and finalise selection of teachers one from each subject from the district. The list along with the proposals shall be submitted to RJDCE of the respective Zone.
v. The RJDCE shall constitute a Zonal-level committee to scrutinize the proposals received from ID colleges and finalise selection of teachers one from each subject from the Zone. The list along with the proposals shall be submitted to CCE.
vi. The number of proposals finalized at each level of screening process shall be one in each subject/group of subjects and not more than a total of 12 proposals.
vii. The Proposal by a college Principal is not considered for the award.
viii. The schedule of the selection process of State teacher awards - 2013 in
respect of subject wise teacher awards is given below.

Minutes of the Meeting:
I. University Teachers:
1. The minimum score of the proposal for the award shall be 60% for the
consideration of award.
2. Proposals for the award shall be not more than one from each faculty from a
University. Among the Universities the faculty with the highest score shall be
selected.
3. Registrars and Vice Chancellors shall not be considered for the award.
4. Number of proposals for the award shall be submitted in double to the number of
awards allocated to University.
5. Proposals from the candidates with less than 40 years shall be considered for
“Young Teacher Award” as per rules, i.e., for more than 300 teachers, 4 teachers
shall be nominated and 2 for young teacher awards (Total six proposals).
6. It is resolved to consider more number of awards to the candidates from Health
Sciences.
7. The last date for the receipt of revised proposals for the State Awards – 2013 is
25-07-2013.
II. Affiliated College Teachers:
It is resolved that out of 35 awards, 23 awards are allotted to 23 districts @ one
per each district and the remaining 12 awards are allotted for 12 teachers one from
each subject.

I. General Instructions:
1) B.Com (Honors) course (3-Years) is offered for the Academic year-3013-14. Total number of Seats: 40
2) Medium of Instruction is English.
3) All candidates seeking admission to SWRGDCs are required to apply in the prescribed form which can be downloaded from website www.apcce.gov.in
4) The filled in applications have to be submitted in Govt. ID College of their respective district.(List Enclosed)
5) 75% seats will be reserved for SC, 12% for BC ( C), 6% for ST, 3% for physically challenged, 2% for BC (A,B,D, E) and 2% for Economically Backward Classes’ (EBC-open category) students.
II. Eligibility:
1) The Candidates seeking admission must have passed Intermediate (10 + 2) or equivalent examination.
2) The mode of admission is as per the merit list prepared on the basis of weightage
a. Screening Test - 30%
b. Marks in qualifying examination (intermediate) - 70%
3) Merit list of all the eligible candidates is prepared on the basis of score obtained in Screening Test and Marks of qualifying examination. Accordingly, students are admitted as per the quota of seats allocated.
III. Screening Test:
1) The Screening Test will be conducted to test the candidates’ proficiency in
a. English Language
b. General Awareness
c. Aptitude
d. Reasoning skills.
2) Test will be for 30 Marks for 60 objective/Multiple choice type questions and each question carries ½ mark and duration of the test will be one hour.
3) The candidates should score at least 35% in the Screening Test to be considered for Merit list.
4) The Screening Test will be held at the following nine (9) places in Govt., ID Colleges.

IV. Admission :
1) Intake into 3-year B.Com (Honors) Course will be 40 students out of which 60% seats will be allotted for students who studied commerce at intermediate level and 40% seats open to general.
2) Candidates shall produce the original Certificates/Provisional Certificates and mark sheets and their attested copies at the time of joining the College.
3) After allotment of seat, the candidate must join the College within one week from the date of declaration of results, failing which his admission stands cancelled and the seat may be allotted to next candidate in the merit list.
