The Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Establishment, Recognition, Administration
and Control of Institutions of Higher Education) Rules, 1987-Issued in G.O. Ms No.29,
Education (Rules) Department, Dated:05.02.1987 subsequently amendments in G.O. Ms
No.35, Higher Education (I.E-II) Department, Dated:25.04.2007-Shifting of the College
form one place to another-Delegation of Powers to the Commissioner of Collegiate
Education, Telangana State, Hyderabad -Orders- Issued.

ORDER:-
In the reference 1st read above, the orders were issued providing among other
things that the “No institution for which permission to establish has been granted to meet
the educational needs of a particular locality, shall be permitted to be shifted to another
locality. However shifting of the institution from one building to another within the same
locality shall be permitted when the intention is to provide better accommodation or shifting
into own building is proposed, with the prior permission of the Government. Any unauthorized
shifting of the institution shall render lapse of the permission/recognition/
affiliation granted to the Institution automatically, without any further notice or orders”.
2. A number of proposals are being received from the A.P. State Council of Hither
Education/ Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad and the Management of
the Colleges in the State for shifting of the Institution from one building to another with in
the same locality.
3. The Government after examination of the matter, hereby delegate the powers to
the Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Telangana State, Hyderabad, to examine the
proposals of managements of the Private Un-aided Degree Colleges for shifting of their
colleges from one building to another within the same locality when the intention is to
provide better accommodation or shifting into own buildings, which fulfills all the conditions
as per Check-List (as annexured to this order) and rules mentioned in the G.O. 1st cited,
and take decision at their level.
4. The Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Telangana State, Hyderabad is directed to
take necessary action in the matters accordingly, and send only the proposals in which
relaxation of rules/guidelines are required to Government for examination.

Postponement of Adilabad District Election of TGCGTA From 31/8/2014 to 07-09-2014

Honouring the request of the District
President, Vice President and Unit office bearers of GDC Adilabad, the District
Elections of Adilabad District have
been postponed from 31-08-2014 to 07-09-2014. The letter of the president is
attached for your kind information
Hence I request the Secretary of the Adilabad
District to inform this postponement
to all the members of the district and to conduct the elections on 7th
sep 2014 at same venue and time. The election observer may kindly be informed.
